About More Than Foundation
More Than Foundation (MTF) is building the Florida standard for early mental health intervention—community-led responder networks that catch crises before they become statistics.
Our Story
More Than Foundation was born to establish the Infrastructure for Justice—a strategy for survival, dignity, and voice designed to catch mental health crises before they become statistics. What began as a founder's vision has grown into a real, community-led infrastructure: trained responders equipped with Mental Health First Aid, Family Stabilization Kits reaching hundreds of families in crisis, and—the newest part of our model—spaces where those who've healed and stabilized can turn their own survival into a voice for someone else.
Statewide Infrastructure for Florida’s Survival
More Than Foundation is building the Infrastructure for Justice—a data-driven strategy for survival, dignity, and voice designed to scale across Florida. We're moving beyond one-time programs toward permanent, community-led responder networks that catch mental health crises before they become lifelong trauma. Through our Heal → Stabilize → Equip model, we walk with families from crisis toward stability—and, for those ready for it, toward giving back what they once needed themselves. Operating with a "No Wrong Door" philosophy and the 2026 Candid Platinum Seal of Transparency, we hold ourselves to a real, verifiable standard of stewardshi
More Than Relief — Real Solutions
Healing Futures
While trauma may shape a childhood, we refuse to let it define a life. Healing Futures is MTF's flagship program—real, recurring, community-led infrastructure for early mental health intervention held every second Saturday of the month across our Florida service counties. Through Heal, we certify everyday adults—teachers, coaches, and faith leaders—with nationally recognized 3-year Mental Health First Aid credentials. Through Stabilize, we remove the immediate barriers (food, hygiene essentials, clothing) that keep a family from healing at all. And through Equip, our newest and still-growing pillar, we're building small, intimate spaces where those who've overcome can offer their own story as proof to someone still in it. We operate with a "No Wrong Door" philosophy, ensuring real access to dignity and voice for every Floridian navigating trauma.
