A Message from Our Founder

I didn't create the More Than Foundation to ask for permission to help; I created it to establish the Infrastructure for Justice. For too long, Florida has relied on reactive systems that wait for a tragedy to occur before responding. I am here to build the community-led strategy for survival, dignity, and voice that replaces those broken pews and silent classrooms with a trained responder network.

This work isn't about charity—it's about Surgical Precision. In Orange County, student homelessness has reached 8,830 students during the 2024-2025 school year. In Broward County, 50% of our neighbors cannot afford a basic survival budget.

Traditional systems ignore these outliers; Healing Futures targets them.

Our Heal → Stabilize → Equip pipeline is the 20% of work that creates 10x better results. We don't just provide a service; we certify everyday adults—teachers, coaches, and faith leaders—with 3-year national credentials as Mental Health First Aid responders. We operate with a "No Wrong Door" philosophy, ensuring universal access and radical hospitality for every Floridian, regardless of their entry point or background.

 

We are not "Sellers" looking for a donation; we are "Buyers" seeking high-standard partners who refuse to settle for the status quo. MTF holds the 2026 Candid Platinum Seal of Transparency, the highest rating a nonprofit can earn, proving we are a high-value, vetted investment.
