The Seed the Change Fund is here to catch you. To water your seeds of hope and help you grow lasting impact. We provide accessible mini grants ranging from $500 to $2,000 to fuel bold, innovative initiatives fighting multidimensional poverty in:

Who Can Apply?
We invite changemakers who dare to imagine a better world — especially grassroots leaders and organizations from underserved communities. This fund is for those ready to act with heart, vision, and grit.
Eligible applicants:

U.S.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations
-
Individuals or informal groups partnered with a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) fiscal sponsor
Projects can take place anywhere — at home or abroad — so long as the legal and financial oversight is managed through a U.S.-based nonprofit.
Are You Eligible?
To qualify, you must:

Be a registered U.S. nonprofit or have an active fiscal sponsor with 501(c)(3) status

Plan a project that directly fights multidimensional poverty in our focus areas
-
Be ready to launch your initiative within 3 to 6 months of receiving funds
-
Commit to financial transparency and responsible use of grant money

Uphold principles of dignity, equity, and inclusion in every step of your work
We may verify your information and ask for extra documents — because integrity matters.
What We Fund — And What We Don’t
We invest in:

First-time or early-stage projects

Underserved or overlooked communities

Initiatives with real, measurable local impact
We do not fund:

Political campaigns

Religious proselytizing
To maximize impact, we typically limit salaries to 25% of the total budget — making sure your money reaches the heart of your project.

Your application will be reviewed by a diverse committee committed to justice and impact.

We notify all applicants within 6 weeks after the application deadline with decisions and feedback.

Funds are disbursed promptly, paired with optional mentorship and capacity-building resources — because we don’t just fund projects, we nurture growth.
